Although this is not a 8052 query, I post this to draw your advise and suggestions from your experience.

I have developed a 8052 based device which monitors various parameters of a single phase powerline. It draws power for its operation from the same powerline through a stepdown transformer setup. The power requirement is +12V & -12V @ min 500mA & max 1A.

Now I have extended the device to monitor three phase powerline. The device has to operate even when one or two phases fail. Battery operation is not possible.
I seek your help in designing the power supply. Any suggestions?
