#54961 - dead flash |
The #$%#$% who designed a unit I am maintaining designed it to write to the same flash addresses several times a day. I have now changed that to a 'walking write' in another area.
Our cost of updating units, without absolute need, is prohibitive and thus the following question? Does anyone know if a flash with too many writes read ff after erase? If that is the case I can specify "update after death" otherwise I need to take the hit of updating functioning units. Erik |
