#55333 - RE: IR auto search func of remote controller Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi,
i am presently in the process of decoding IR for air con (mine a daikin) codes. i am tapping from the base of the transitor that is driving the IR emitter. One day, while decoding using my method. my friend came along and commented. y din i use a IR receiver. (part IS1U60 which he recommended). says that it will give a ttl output. but when i was decoding thru oscillospscope. it also show high and low. BUt now the problem is the output is very long, it is not the usualy 12 or 14 bits which i read on the web. very long sometimes i counted the high it has ( almost 30 of them and more ). so am i do the correct thing? or do i need to use the ISU160 my friend recommend? which is which? thank you |
