#55462 - RE: 24/7 and 365 days... re watchdog
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Any thing else like...power supply,capacitors...
Just design as everything should be designed: well.
e.g. a crummy design would not calculate the heat disappation in a 7805 at maximum ambient temp, maximum Vin and minimum air, a decent one would. Decoupling capacitors - I have seen designs with too few, none wit5h too many.

Again design everyting for worse than worst case and you will be fine.

Another consideration for a good design is that everything will, at some time or other, be wrong. So, make sure that if e.g. the UART get more than the designed maximum record length it will not blow the system. I have seen 'records' longer than a country mile generated by noise.

There are no special considerations for industrial design, all your designs should be 'industrial'.
