#56271 - Sequencer is wrong! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hallo Kelly,
I have transformed your bmp-file into gif: ![]() How does your cicuit works? U1A works like an inverter. So, U1B and U1C outputs always show complementary logic levels. JK-flip-flop having J and K inputs connected to each other, will do only two different things, when clock input gets a high-low edge: JK=0 results in output remaining unchanged, JK=1 will cause a toggling of outputs. Consequence is, that Q and !Q outputs of each flip-flop will always show complementary logic levels. So, always TWO coils are driven, one by the upper flip-flop, and additional one by the lower flip-flop. But that's wrong! Considering full step response only ONE coil may be driven at a time. Standard sequence is: A1, B1, A2, B2, a.s.o. And with opposite direction: A1, B2, A2, B1, a.s.o. But with your design always two coils are driven! Another mistake: After powering-on your circuit condition of flip-flop is unpredictable. You should provide a power-on reset also for your flip-flop sequencer. Kai |
