It is my belief that I should be able to power the mosfet driver with +12Vdc and still be able to drive a N-MOSFET's Gate which will have a source/drain voltage of +50Vdc. I belief i will be able to do this cause the solenoid I am driving only consume a max 500mA. So, the driver should be able to source enough current to the Gate inorder achieve the Gate-to-Source voltage.

Does this sound correct?
