I think there are too many people out there who are ready to bash DOS at the drop of a hat !!

But why ? Was it not the one that was the pioneer when it comes to operating systems as applied to the individual desktops ? Today you have other OS, but were they not kind of kids when DOS was already in most PCs around the world ? Maybe my knowledge of History is bad and am ready to be corrected.

As an OS the DOS darling had its day; served the purpose and got old ! There is no point in asking who still uses the T-Ford ? Can we ?
