sorry about that, of course, so thanks to Marshall Brown!

The summary:

set Hyperterminal to Hardware Handshake.

Then DTR(4) and RTS(7) both deliver a plus Voltage. Connect 7+8, this satisfies the Handshake for Sending from PC to the attached device.
