#57795 - Hardware De-bounce Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Oleg and others, I recently faced this problem of de-bouce when i was coding for an input and it was simply solved by my hardware engineer just by using some gate with good hysterisis (like the 7414). Then i tried to see the number of times the ISR (Interrupt Service Routine) is getting executed and was amazed to see that there is almost no debounce. my ISR code never gets executed more than once most of the time (maybe 1 in 100 tries it gets executed twice). So, if you can add that chip then you can safely forget about de-boucnce. Regards, Harsha |
