#58052 - Write Function Call does not work proper |
Hi, I am trying to use the EEPROM sample program to write to and read from memory. When I used the simulator it works fine (DEECON = 0x00;), but when I use the emulator it does not work.
Here is what happens: After reading DEECON = 0x8E; (which is normal) but the MSB (EEIF) should be cleared by software, This is how I am trying to clear that bit DEECON &= ~0x8E; In other words it reads but does not write. DEECON's reset value should be 0x00xxx0B. What could be keeping EEIF Unchangeable? ...should I be reading every time just right before writing...I do not think so. Erik, maybe you know this answer. Thanks |
