Erik, setting the MSB of DEECON (EEIF) means the read/write operation is done. If I not mistaken this MSB has to be cleared by software right? Well, I intent to do that but I does not happen. The reset value for this register is 0x00xxx0B, but I am only worry about the MSB...why it does not change, what could it cause for it to remain set.
