Could you elaborate on this? I am interested in what you have to say about it, especially comparing it to more popular packages like Orcad.

I have been using Protel DXP for the last year. Before Protel, I tried to learn on an old version of Orcad but I couldn't figure anything out because I didn't know PCB design flow and terminology. Plus the interface really stunk. I had to mostly teach myself how to do PCB layout and Protel's logical interface and use of pictures helped me a lot.

It does have some big rought spots, though. I am curious if we share the same criticisms about it.
