The way I do the Excel to Source code type thing is shown in this sample lookup table spreadsheet....

Within the spreadsheet there is a black rectangle. Block mark all cells inside the black box and type Ctl-C. Then goto a source code editor such as notepad or whatever and type Ctl-V. Try it with this sample and see if it works for you.

The you can spend some time looking at what I stuck in the cells as formulas to get the copy / paste to work well.
