Yes I knew that something was amiss- reason why I posted the query.

But still I am not clear why I can't bodge two outputs to get one ?

Case 1 : 0x0000 = 0.00 V
Case 2 : 0x00ff = 5.00 V
Case 3 : 0x01ff = 5.02 V
Case 4 : 0xffff = 10.0 V

Well if you are talking about things like speed of conversion, hardware tuning etc - well they are different and need to be addressed. In fact I am happy with an update of once per second.

So where is the REAL issue - in the logic or realization ?
