hi folks.

i am making a project for college, and it involves a atmel mpu and a lcd (stn type), which derives the time/date/year blah blah from a dallas rtc (ds17887). i have firmware code for the mpu (to generate the time and etc).
i need to know how to interface the rtc with the mpu???????????????


any help is much appreciated.

also, how about doing like wise for the lcd and the mpu, but i dont think this would be too difficult, i think the lcd i am getting got a serial display driver built in and it should be relatively easy to hook up with the mpu.
