Hi Eric,
You simply need to read the datasheet for your rtc, and the associated apnote regarding interfacing. Both are available from Dallas/Maxim. No sweat to find. What's your problem? You don't need to worry about whether this chip is backwards compatible with older chips, you don't care since you have datasheets and apnotes available for the chip you want to use. Dennis By the way, while Dallas makes a lot of one-wire interface parts, this particular RTC is not one of them. |
