#59498 - RE: 24bit Serial ADC required[Jacob]
Responding to: ???'s previous message

Jacob,
Since I'm using an external reference, this range becomes +/-40mV. Looking at the results with a fixed (as 'fixed' as can be!!) input you soon see what bits are jumping around. When I started playing around with 24bit adcs I was shocked to see the noise and thought there was something wrong with my circuit - a little research confirmed what I was seeing. As usual, it pays to do a bit of reading first!!!
