Beware
WHen you compile the Keil program in evaluation version... and burn it in 8051 .... it will not run.... because the program is copied in a portion of the memory which is not first executed. Remember when 8051 boots up. ... it start executing program from a certain memory location. Keil evaluation version does not copy at that location but at another location.... so you if every thing is right even software and hardware .... you first program will not run... that was the situation i face and it took 1 month to figure it out. Get other compiler like Free C SDCC complier for 8051 search google Shahzad |
