Hai,
Use a Traic with Logic Gate. Triac with Logic Level Gate can be directly interfaced to microcontrollers and require less gate current. You can also use a snubber circuit to protect the Triac from Dv/dt or use Snubberless / Hicommutation Traics with logic level Gates. Check BTA16-600TW or www.st.com, www.philips.com Rgds, B.
