#60174 - RE: Relay or Triac with uController Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Muhammad Sajjad:
Any microcontroller design that interfaces with and controls high power, whether it be by relay, contactor, triac or SSR (solid state relay component) will require much careful design in system design, PC board layout, shielding, and grounding. This process will require more energy I suspect than the process of deciding whether to use a relay or a triac. Good Luck!! And have a safe fun time. Michael Karas |
