I agree!! From Wednesday to Monday to do the project described would be a good sized task for one very familair with all the tools and the parts in use. For some one on the learning end of the rope it will be a great challenge.

Did the instructor just give this assignment today or yesterday? If so it is worth suggesting to the instructor that a project time frame expansion is warranted. And if the instructor tries to argue otherwise then suggest that they should read this posting. If all the hardware was in place and known to be working I would be extremely hardplaced to get the code done in 2-3 days all working perfectly. (And that presumes that I can cut and paste portions of code from previous projects to save time getting things like the TIMER, UART, and A/D to work).
