#61773 - RE: Again, the robo Ball 100Hz and 50Hz
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hallo Charles,

unfortunately, Erik and Steve are quite right. Neon lamps are emitting at 100Hz, with very strong harmonics!! So, if the frequency of ball and goals is exactly at 100Hz, there's no filtering on earth, which can solve the problem.

I would like to ask Stanley, at what frequency own goal and goal of other team is emitting, and at what frequency the ball is emtting. Please give frequencies as exact as possible.

One solution could be to filter out light coming from unwanted directions. Means, the goals and the ball are rather horizontally to robot, in opposition to neon lights from ceiling...

Also, if frequency of goals and ball are pulsed (on - off) this could be detected, too. So, Stanley, are goals and ball emit pulsed or modulated frequency in some way?

Kai
