Our DataIO programmer was orphaned when DataIO started shipping new models and stopped supporting the old one.

Even my dear old Needhams EMP20 has been put to pasture. Seems that any new software development is being done in Windows, too bad for your DOS-based programmers.

But that's technology for you. It changes, and the old is replaced by the new, regardless of whether it's really an improvement. (My new Needhams EMP21 Windows software is slower and less efficient than the old DOS version...)

But all this is another reason why I *love* ISP!
