I had started to picture you all runing your Petri Net models by using wadded-up fag packets (the tokens), marking the beer mats (places), which would be much to delicate down at the pub -- one rowdy patron and you've got to start over.

My first and to date, largest, Petri Net design back in the mid 80's used hand-drawn nets on many 11"x17" sheets of printer paper. I'd spread it all out and run pennies (tokens) through the "system" for simulation.
