#63440 - RE: Burn in procedures Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The aim of burn-in is to accelerate the infant mortalities ... by running at elevated temperature - hence burn-in. Of course, this means that all the components get stressed - hence some doubt the value of burn in, and suggest that it may even do more harm than good. Maybe you need to find a QA consultant - designing a good Burn-In test is not a trivial excercise! (No, I'm not a QA consultant!) |
