2. RRC---> TI2-->C
3. check if C is set?


why do you rotate then test for carry? There are instructions that allow you to conditionally jump on the bit itself:

mov a,scon2
jb a.2,zippo

that is, if you want to do it this way.

The recommended way is to find out how to declare bits and registers in your assembler/compiler.

If the assembler is AD2500 for example:

DPP REG 084H ;REG POINTER - PAGE BYTE
I2CDAT REG 09AH ;I2C REG BUFFER
I2CADD REG 09BH ;I2C ADDRESS
