#6470 - RE: Code breaking, what kind of IC will help |
Aka,
Do I understand correctly that expected text can serve as important information in finding the key. Or do you just find short segments of text with out finding out the key? When a page of text is scrambled how do they come up with such a complicated function that can thoughrly scrambel a hole page. What about short streams of data. Would they be vunerable to decryption. Soppose a telephone number is transmited and is lightly encrypted. And if you speculate what the phone number is can you find the key and use it for other data? Unless, a hole bunch of dummy data is sent along with the telephone number, I don't see how it could be encrypted heavily. This is not a hobby. I consider code breaking as valuable. |
