Please post the connections for your LCD & keypad and then maybe someone can spot where the trouble lies. I can comment on two things right off... 1) The E line that goes to the LCD probably needs to be a single function output from the microcontroller. 2) The keypad rows & columns need to be connected in such a manner that a key being pressed continuously does not disturb the I/O process to the LCD. A small graphic diagram would be simplest to look at. Michael Karas PS....It is truly possible to combine the interfaces to these to some degree. |
