I would like to do quite the same experiment. I would try to send an sms by manually typing the at commands in hyperterminal.
I don't have expierience with AT commands and GSM.
Could anybody post a link to a understandable site about AT commands...
Google gives me tons of crap-sites ans I understand none of it.

A second problem is the baudrate.
Martina's code uses a baudrate of 1200. Is this a fixed value for all GSM's? Or does it depend on the manufacturer and the type?
