#66211 - Just a tiny advice
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Raghu,

this probably is an extension to Steves reply. You can find the TV-out on the SIS-6326 AGP display card that can be found on MANY older machines (P-IIIs and earlier ones etc). Infact, the whole card costs about Rs.1300 and it includes 32 MB Video Ram.

Then as Kai was mentioning, I guess that would be a realistic solution. Use an I2C/Serial/USB enabled FPGA to do the image-processing and then talk to it using our 8051. Also, TeleVital, a Bangalore-based firm is doing great job in video compressions etc (if you need it. This has been mentioned in Readers Digest March 2004 issue in the King of Hearts section), so if you have contacts who can reach there, you are almost there.

Regards,
Harsha.
