#66555 - Keil Flash monitor with AT89C51RD2 |
Hi, before I ask my question, I want to thank this message board and the people who are contributing to this. there are many nice people here that I enjoy reading their postings, one of the most recent postings that I like to mention was "Why not using the Hammer-effect?" posted by Kai klaas ;-). I visit many good message boards, this one is also really good!
but about 8052, I'm trying to debug my program using keil flash monitor on an AT89C51RD2 running at 24MHZ, I've downloaded(using Atmel's FLIP) @57600 keil's AT89C51RD2 flashmon driver, with no problem, I've set BSB(Boot Status Byte) to non zero( 0xFC or 0xFF) and SBV(software boot vector) to 0xE0 and Enabled Boot loader Jump Bit( BLJB) as asked for in the document, every time I start the debugger( I've chosen to use Keil Monitor 51 driver in my project target options ) I get the message "Target Dll has been Cancelled, Debugger aborted". when the chip is off keill shows a dialog box Connection to target system lost. I posted a similar message to keil website with no response yet! at this time I just want to make sure that I didn't misunderstand anything from documents. so if you are not sure what could possibly be wrong and you’ve used flash monitor with RD2 please verify my steps(above). Thank you very much, Sam |
