#66682 - RE: Keil Flash monitor with AT89C51RD2 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I couldn’t solve my problem yet! There is absolutely no information for this situation on internet, and because both keil and AT89C51RD2 are relatively popular, I guess I misunderstand something from documents!
One thing that I don’t understand is that in keil document clearly noted that after flashmon driver is loaded, Boot loader Jump bit(BLJB) should set, In AT89C51RD2 it is noted that if BLJB is set then code at address 0x00 will be executed and if it is clear code at the address referred by SBV(Software Boot Vector) will be executed that’s where I placed the flashmon driver. But, wait a second! If BLJB is set then how keil is supposed to communicate with its driver? (I’ve also cleared BLJB so that driver be executed but with no better luck, message is the same!). I completely confused, Is it a software crash, is it a communication failure, or… . the flashmon DLL drivers in application are S8051.DLL and TP51.DLL (-pATRD2). I suspect something wrong with them. I wish oleg was here, he is not in the board for awhile, I think he knows much about Atmel products and RD2, but it seems that he is busy with their presidential election :-o, by the way eric is not here for awhile, but I think he hates atmel he just love Philips, am I right ? Ok,I’m going back to the bored( sorry board)…:-( If you have a suggestion to solve my problem, please let me know! TIA(but it does not mean that I you never hear from me again ;-) ) |
