It depends what you need it to do,a simple usb/'52 i/o controller is available on www.opencores.org and would cost $1-2 dollars if implemented in a coolrunner cpld.Ive started using coolrunners from xilinx for samll control functions such as this as they have a static current consumption of 30-40 ua. |
