yes I have used the AN2131Q as well as several other too. The cypress chips are capable to enumerate without any additional firmware. (EZ USB default device)
I don't think you can do something usefull with this default device exept downloading code. The eeprom contains VID PID and probably code. You should check the manual (B0 B2 download) Thomas |
