#67690 - asking sugestion for sensing AC voltage |
since lots of you do/done devices dealing with mains AC voltage I'm asking a sugestion for sensing it.
what I'm trying to do: measure the medium, minimum and maximum values of a mains residential AC outlet these values will be stored on a flash memory. the circuit and coding for that part is ok (at least in my head...) the hard part: sensing the AC that can be 110VAC or 220VAC (for my project I'm considering it up to 300VAC) my sugestion is in the picture. what do you think? crazy? where do you see a multimeter please understand that it will be an ADC on a processor board. thanks! orlando
