Hi Pralhad,
Is there any specific reason why you purchased an AC proximity sensor? Because Proximity Sensors for Sensing metal (Ferrous objects) are available; which work on dc voltage of 10Vdc ~ 24V dc. And interconnecting them to 8051 device will be a lot simpler, cost effective and safe to manufacture, develop and service. As far as my knowledge goes these sensors are available in Mumbai @Approx. Rs.120/- (USD2.5). And there are tons of manufacturers of these proximity sensors (in Mumbai) and You will NEVER get a datasheet from these manufacturers. I am stating this from my past experience. With best regards from, Mr. Kiran V. Sutar |
