If the Flash programm memory was guaranteed to hold its data over 100 years, then feel free to hold your µc the whole 100 years on, without needing any additional reset cycle in between.

Only if faulty power or other impact occur, a further reset cycle can be needed to reenter the normal operation.

And also in this case, if not right developed software cause that it hangs.
