Your post sounds like "I'll spend a week on this, then I'll be in business - WRONG!
This is not directed to amateurs, it is specifically address in "for my to be buisiness" First: be patient, fluency takes time, but you should be able to so 'something' in a few months and 'something great' in a few years.. the first you need to fully understand is "the bible" here are the links to "the bible" Chapter 1 http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat/v...ARCH_1.pdf chapter 2 http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat/v...UIDE_1.pdf chapter 3 http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat/v...WARE_1.pdf Then you need to pick some modern chips, go through the selection list at the websites, pick a few that match your intended application and study the datasheets and user manuals. check Philips and Cygnal Then you need to understand communications, such as IIC The best (and most) IIC appnotesincluding the bus specification: http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/buses/i2c...index.html Then you need to learn compilers and assemblers check Keil and Raisonance. then you need to learn to debug. Simulators work to an extent, but since you state 'business' you will need to purchase an ICE Check Cygnal IDE and CEIBO after the above you will almost be able to do your first project such as 'blinky' Erik |
