#68644 - RE: Learning 8051 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
A word of caution regarding 8051 microcontroller books: many use chips in their examples, both microcontrollers and peripherals, that are virtually obsolete. Before starting a design, check to see what is currently available and/or ask for recommendations here.
When choosing a microcontroller, go with an in-circuit programmable flash part, rather than relying on getting your hands on a separate programmer. You won't regret it. Dennis |
