Yes Mr. Joshi you can master 8051 in some month. I suggest you the book "The 8051 Microcontroller & Embedded Systems" by Mazidi. It is ultimate book I found in Bombay market.

Some caution however. One can learn how to read and write in a few months, this does not imply that one can write a good book. There is more involved in writing a book then reading/writing alone...

I personnally would say that it would take more than a few months before mastering the 8051. But of course this depends on the definition of a "master".
