I am trying to develop a application using 89C51RD2 fro the application and I using it first time. First I am trying to bring the controller in "alive" state, include, clock genreration etc.

I made connection as follows:

1. Resistor of 10K between ground and Reset pin and capacitor of 10uF between rest and VCC (+5VDC).

2. Crystal of 11.0592MHz between XTAL1 & XTAL2 with capacitors of 33pF.

When I checked the XTAL1 & XTAL2 with DSO of 200MHz (Textronix), I could not able to see the oscillator clock. I changed the reset capacitor to 330uF, thinking that may be it may not be propperly reset.

Still I could not found the error. Can anybody help me?
