Hi Andy,
I'm not sure if you are referencing the Z8 or Z80 instruction set. But definitely the Z80 instruction set is better than the 8051. Two examples are the Dynamic refresh. And that can be used to generate true random number generation. I think the swap commands are much better than the 8051.
