You could do something in a CPLD with enough pins. There is also a 16 bit wide i2c i/o device - like a double PCF8574. And maxim does something like it. I think, I would use more 595's and no decoder. Dont even think on portexpanders (8255) - you will ruin Erik's sunday! Ha en god weekend Per |
