Take a look at the UCN5833EP 32 bit serial latched driver from Allegro. Each of its outputs rated at 30 volts and 125 mA. Should not be too difficult to use since the drivers are latched, permitting input to change without affecting the output until you want it to. Comes in a nifty plcc-44 package so it won't take a lot of real estate.
