Some small little thingy that I always like to think about...

What about stuff we go on the computer for, that can easily be made into an embedded machine? Something mechanical.

Because i am in High School, i doubt that i would ever get some of the following stuff done, so everyone is welcome to take it. (just don't sue me for distributing your copywrited secrets :p )

Maybe they are not too big, but what the hey!!

A CD-Rom Copier
Floppy Copier
Hard Disk transfer
Hard Disk Formatter/Partitioner
Floppy Defragmenter and Scanner
(VHS) Tape copier.

If you can implement any of these ideas in a cheap and fast way... That would be awsome. I am sure some of them exist, but what about making it so that an average joe would own one?

Measure the type of soil meter, for the farmers. Probably amount of air pockets, moisture, and humus is in the ground. Possible? I have no clue.

Games?
A digimon/tomagochi type game, with the capability to go on the internet and continue battle there.
(In case you do not know, in digimon, you raise up a little pet that you carry around everywhere. Every now and then (like 7:00 AM or so, towards 12:00PM and 5:00 PM)it requires food. You can train these little monsters, and if they die you have to start all over again. Continue on from there, its not my game, just an idea)
