Adding features to a simulator isn't likely to happen. Newer compilers like Keil offer support for newer derivatives in their simulator. Remember that most simulators don't do a very good job (if at all) of simulating the peripherals (like the S53's SPI controller) and real-time events (timers and such). But what are you doing that you need to simulate this chip? The differences between it and a vanilla 8052 are very small, I would probably just lie to the simulator and tell it I was using an 8052. An alternative is to write your own simulator to meet your specific needs. I did this once...a bit of a pain, but very educational too. Dennis |
