Frankly this problem of possible compilation error came in my mind while reading your message. As it is about MOVC & MOVX commands.
Its error in my understanding. Sorry for that

As far as compilation is concerned I have included s53.h to solve the problems of s53 specific sfrs.

I am using 24MHz for this s53 what if freq exceed by even a small margin, will it work?
