My suggestion is if you are loosing production due to power cuts then take it up with the power company get them to provide a more reliable power supply,or failling that locate production somewhere were there is a reliable power supply
In developing countries like INDIA things are not that easy? none of the above two ideas will work because..
1. In more than 70% part of country power is there only for 4-6 hours a day.
2. In remaining so called developed areas also power cuts are very frequent and common.
There is no point in taking the matter to power company as almost all power projects are government owned. [Goverment owned = Lot of carelessness & corruption ] even if one spends his whole life running after the government officers things wont be improved.
