#71482 - RE: Sad, but true. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Me too, i heard that !
(but with several day in delay becuase our distributor in France isn't very hurry...)... I use several E5 in several projects and now it will be a nightmare to get new E5 ( i hope that rochester will keep E5... ). E5 was a very good product and replace it in my old projects will be a nightmare ( the FPGA portion permits several tricks that it will be hard to do it differently ). I was so surprised because i buy a new licence for FastChip in march, just before the xilinx press announced, and i didn't get any advice that E5 will be EOL... Did somebody have found a products that can replace a Triscend E5 ? i know silicon labs chips (cygnal), but they get only 2 uarts... Sincerely Chris. |
