No don't give away the answer yet! I'm still working on it as I have time. And since we're sharing convictions, I think it's cheating to compile the code and run it. To me, the challenge is to disect the algorithm line by line until you understand what it does and why. If you want to end the puzzle, add the comments to the code and explain the algorithm.
